Film producer Alexan Sarikamichian, from Argentina, presents FATAL

Published

on

Fatal talks about friendship, there are two couples who happen to be very good friends with each other, that kind of relationship may cause a feeling of trust that turns complicated when it comes to limits. The relationships, infidelity, adolescence, the night, provocation and intimate moments are reflected in the character’s personalities who dare to do whatever they want. With a vintage style and paying special attention to photography, Alexan Sarikamichian left aside natural landscapes and got into the intensity of the city. Filmed in Bs AS, Argentina.

Alexan Sarikamichian, born and raised in Argentina, began his career as a producer with more than 10 short films such as “La Donna” and “Pude ver un Puma” which got nominated in The Cannes Film Festival. He also produced feature films such as “Juana a las 12″, “Paula”, “Juan Meisen ha muerto” and “El Auge del Humano” films that had global recognition and gave him the opportunity to attend San Sebastian Festival. In music he found the possibility to produce video clips for Miranda, Luciano Pereyra, Abel Pintos, India Martinez, Indios Rock-Pop and Dani Umpi.
In 2016 he started his career as a director, after years of being involved only in production, with the video called CHICOS, his first fashion film “Nadie hace el amor en soledad”, a short film called COMOS with more than 50,000 reproductions and his latest release “Total Destruction “.

J.Papa SS18 Lookbook: showing the diverse life of the J.Papa girl based in downtown NYC

Published

on

The SS18 season’s muse is L’Ka Tea, aka @_wafffles. This girl is cooler than cool based in NYC by way of Kazakhstan. In addition to her growing modeling career, L’Ka is a talented skate boarder and b girl dancer. Photographer Meredith Jenks was perfect for capturing L’Ka’s energy as a true J.Papa girl. This was Meredith’s 4th season shooting for J.Papa and we continue to be honored to work with such a dynamic artist who blends fashion and street photography seamlessly creating each seasons editorial style look book. Make up was beautifully executed by Aya Kudo with styling by Christina Tung who has really helped emulate the J.Papa attitude into a brand.

Fabrics used for the SS18 collection are protective and versatile while still maintaining a signature sexy silhouette. Each piece in every J.Papa collection is based on interchangeable separates which is important as the J.Papa label prides itself on diversity, allowing something for everyone. With this years change in leadership, creating a rollercoaster of hope, it was especially important to design a line that the J.Papa girl can keep her shit together in while taking on all of the societal elements thrown her way!
